DRAKE “Search & Rescue” è il nuovo singolo [Il testo e ascolta il brano]

Devo avere un sesto senso nascosto. Proprio ieri sera parlavo con un mio collega e dicevo che mi sentivo che in questi giorni sarebbe uscita nuova musica di Drake. 

Eccomi accontentato da Search & Rescue, il nuovo singolo di Drake che arriva a sorpresa, un po’ come ultimamente ci ha abituato fare il rapper canadese. 

Prodotta da BNYX, con il quale Drake aveva collaborato già lo scorso anno, “Search & Rescue” è la prima uscita solista del rapper multiplatino nel 2023, dopo LP “HER LOSS” in collaborazione con 21 Savage pubblicato a fine 2022. 

Particolarità di “Search & Rescue”, di cui Drake aveva anticipato senza troppi dettagli l’uscita ai fan solo qualche giorno fa, è la presenza al suo interno di un audio di Kim Kardashian mentre parla con la madre Kris della sua relazione, ormai giunta al termine, con Kanye West, da sempre rivale musicale di Drake.

La conversazione è stata estrapolata da un episodio risalente al 2021 di “Keeping Up With the Kardashians”. 

Questo nuovo singolo sembrerebbe aprire un nuovo capitolo della carriera di Drake, continuando il periodo altamente prolifico della sua discografia degli ultimi due anni, iniziato con l’album “Certified Lover Boy” (disco d’oro in Italia) nel 2021, seguito da “Honestly, Nevermind” e con il joint EP “HER LOSS”.

Da sempre, il rapper dichiara di sentirsi davvero vivo solo quando si trova in sala di registrazione alla ricerca della perfezione.
