Used To Be Young è il nuovo singoli di Miley Cyrus. Un brano intimo e introspettivo che è nuova musica dopo l’uscita a marzo di quest’anno del suo ultimo album “Endless Summer Vacation”.

A proposito di “Used To Be Young”, Miley Cyrus dichiara:

Ad accompagnare il brano un video essenziale dove si vede Miley in primo piano a cantare. Il videoclip è diretto da Jacob Bixenman e Brendan Walter.

In merito al videoclip, l’artista commenta:

È estremamente emozionante, perché interpreto mia mamma da bambina e potevo vederla all’interno della telecamera utilizzando una tecnologia con cui ho trasmesso in diretta streaming con mia madre.

Così potevamo vederci e mentre lei ballava sulle note del brano mi ha fatto piangere, ridere e provare tante emozioni vere.

Credo che tutto ciò faccia entrare le persone in contatto con emozioni vere, che non mi sembra riescano a venire fuori molto in questi tempi».

Per celebrare l’uscita di “Used To Be Young”, Miley Cyrus ha condiviso storie e approfondimenti di molti capitoli della sua vita nell’evento speciale televisivo Endless Summer Vacation: Continued (Backyard Sessions).

Una nuova versione rispetto a quella originariamente trasmessa su Disney+, lo speciale presenta un’intervista inedita, nonché la musica del suo ultimo album “Endless Summer Vacation”, ed è andato in onda sulla ABC poche ore prima dell’uscita di “Used To Be Young”. Il nuovo speciale rivisitato è ora disponibile in streaming su Hulu.com.
