OSCAR 2024: BILLIE EILISH, DUA LIPA, OLIVIA RODRIGO e JARVIS COCKER nelle shortlist
L’Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences ha svelato le shortlist per le diverse categorie agli Oscar 2024 .
In lizza per le nomination per la migliore canzone originale sono Dua Lipa e Billie Eilish per le canzoni di Barbie , Olivia Rodrigo per “ Can’t Catch Me Now ”, Sharon Van Etten per “Quiet Eyes”, Jarvis Cocker per Asteroid City -“Dear Alien (Who Art in Heaven)” e altri ancora.
I compositori nella rosa dei candidati per la migliore colonna sonora originale includono Mica Levi, Mark Ronson, Ludwig Göransson, Joe Hisaishi, John Williams, il compianto Robbie Robertson e Daniel Pemberton, tra gli altri.
Tutti i candidati verranno rivelati il 23 gennaio.
GOLDEN GLOBE
Le liste dei candidati agli Oscar si sovrappongono in qualche modo alle nomination ai Golden Globe 2024 . Le canzoni di Barbie: “Dance the Night,” “What Was I Made For?,” e “I’m Just Ken” sono nominati ai Golden Globes, così come il brano di Lenny Kravitz “Road to Freedom” tratto da Rustin. E tutti e sei i candidati alla colonna sonora originale ai Golden Globes sono nella rosa dei candidati agli Oscar.
L’ Oscar 2023 per la migliore colonna sonora originale è andato a Volker Bertelmann (alias Hauschka) per il suo lavoro su All Quiet on the Western Front .
L’Oscar per la migliore canzone originale è andato invece ai creatori di “Naatu Naatu” MM Keeravani e Chandrabose, che hanno battuto Lady Gaga, Rihanna, David Byrne e altri.
Nel 2022, Billie Eilish e suo fratello Finneas hanno vinto la migliore canzone originale agli Academy Awards per “ No Time to Die ”.
