Tanti artisti insieme per “Songs for Australia”, compilation (in uscita il 12 marzo) composta solo da cover di pezzi di artisti australiani il cui ricavato sarà devoluto alle organizzazioni impegnate nell’emergenza incendi in Australia.
A promuovere l’iniziativa la cantante folk-pop australiana Julia Stone. Tra gli artisti che hanno partecipato all’iniziativa spiccano i The National che hanno suonato Never Tear Us Apart degli INXS e poi ancora Joan As Police Woman alle prese con la cover di Hearts a Mess di Gotye, Damien Rice con Chandelier di SIA o Kurt Vile che reinterpreta Stranger Than Kindness di Nick Cave.
