Video e Testo: STING – “If It’s Love”

E’ on line il video If It’s Love, nuovo brano di Sting e traccia che anticipa il suo prossimo album, “The Bridge”, in uscita il 19 novembre.

Diretto da Lukas McFarlane e girato al Sadler’s Wells Theatre di Londra e al Theatres De La Ville in Lussemburgo, il video musicale presenta la compagnia di danza di Message In A Bottle, lo spettacolo di teatro-danza acclamato dalla critica dalla candidata al triplo Olivier Award, Kate Prince . 

Con la sua voce, un vero marchio impossibile da non riconoscere, STING guarda all’amore con un approccio differente, semplice, paragonando il suo amore romantico al dover chiamare un medico per raccontare dei suoi sintoni.

Non sono sicuramente il primo cantautore che paragona l’innamoramento o la fine dell’amore con una malattia incurabile e non sarò certo l’ultimo” ha detto STING. “’If It’s Love è il mio contributo a quel modello in cui la metafora dei sintomi, diagnosi e la propria incapacità rendono tutti noi simili tanto da ritrovarci a sorridere mestamente”.
